Fear not! You CAN craft a unique, one-of-a-kind instrument to your exacting specs, and you can build it yourself for a lot less money than high-end luthiers will charge for their time, skill and expertise. Alas, time and money are typically an object for most, which is why the custom guitar route is oftentimes out of reach for most musicians.
